Argentina
Argentina, officially the Argentine, is a South American country, second in size in the
continent to Brazil
and eighth in the world.
From 1880 to 1945, as an
independent country, Argentina
enjoyed increasing prosperity, prominence and became one of the top 10 richest
countries in the world, through an export-led economy. The population of the
country swelled sevenfold. However, after 1970s, a serious political chaos,
military failure and economic mistakes brought down Argentina to its knee at the
beginning of the new Century.
